AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1406, ARTICLE XXI,
SECTION 4, METERED PARKING, SUBmSECTION (c), 60 MINUTE METHR ED
PARKING, BY DELETING PAKKING METERS 13-9, 13-10, and 13••11, ON
THE WEST SIDE OF 2ND STREET, N. E., IMMEDIATELY SOUTH OF THE
SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF EAST HOUSTON STREET, AND BY ADDING
THERETO PARKING METERS 13-2a, 13-2b, and 13-2c BE INSTALLED ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF EAST HOUSTON STREET, AND BEING ON THE NQRTH
SIDE OF A RECENTLY CONSTRUCTED PARKING LOT AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE
OLD LAMAR CREAMERY BUILDING; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1406, Article XXI, Section 4,
"Metered Parking," Sub-section (c), "60 Minute Metered Parking,"
be amended as follows: By deleting the three parking meters on
the West Side of 2nd Street, N. E., immediately South of the South
Boundary Line of East Houston Street, and being Meters 13-9, 13-10,
and 13-11, and adding thereto, between Meters 13-2 and 13.3, three
60 minute parking meters, on the South Side of ;East Houston Street,
and being the former entrance to the old Lamar Creamery, which lo•-
cation is now an off-street parking lot.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective immedia.tely.
Section 3. All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
