AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZON••
ING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A SF-3 DISTRICT AT THE SOUTH
WEST INTERSECTION OF WEST SHERMAN STREET AND 25TH STREET, S.W.,
ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO BILL R. BOSWELL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT; AND DE.•
SIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE SF»3 DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same
are hereby changed, and that a SF..3 District be, and the same is
hereby established at the South West intersection of West Sherman
Street and 25th Street, S.W,, on property belonging to Bill R.
Boswell, so as to include in such SFM3 District the hereinafter
described property, which was formerly and is presently designated
as an Agricultural District, and that the boundaries of said SF.»3
District, be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Faris,
County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Asa Jarman
Survey, and being a description of all of Isots 1, 2, and 3,
and the East 92 feet of Lots 14, 15, and 16, Block "A", of the
Porters Second Addition, said Addition being recorded in Book
104, Page 482, of the Deed Records of said County and State,
also being the same tract of land conveyed Bill R. Boswell by
deed recorded in Vol, 434, Page 166, of said Deed Records.
Beginning at a stake for corner at the intersection of
the West Boundary Line of 25th S. W. with the South Boundary
Line of Sherman St,, said point being the Northeast corner of
said Lot 1 and said Boswell tract of land.
Thence South along the West Boundary I.ine of 25th S,W„ a
distance of 150 feet to a stake for corner at the Southeast
corner of said Lot 3 and said Boswell tract of land;
Thence West a distance of 250 feet to a stake for corner
in the South Boundary Line of said Lot 14, said point being
the Southwest corner of said Boswell tract of land;
Thence North a distance of 150 feet to a stake for corh
ner in the South Boundary Line of Sherman Street, said point
being 50 feet East of the East Boundary Line of 26th S.W.,
said point for corner being the Northwest corner of said
Boswell tract of land;
Thence East along the South Boundary Line of Sherman St.
a distance of 250 feet to the place of beginning and contain.
ing 0,86 acres of land.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be,
and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of
Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710
and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with
the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are::hereby expressly repealeda
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage,
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in
regular session convened at Council Chambers on this the 8th day of
May, A,D., 1967,
