AN pRDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDTNANCE OF THE CITY OF FARIS,
TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES E5TABLISHED BY THE ZONING ME3P OF
SAID CITY; ESTL3BLISHING A GENERAL- RETAIL DISTRICT ON THE WEST SIDE
OF 35TH STREET, N. E., O'N PROPERTY BELONGING TO JOHN R. WALKER, SO
AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A SF•-2 DIS-
TRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT
SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are
hereby changed, and that a General Retail District, be, and the same
is hereby established on the West Side of 35th Street, N. E,, on
property belonging to John R. Walker, so as to include in such
General Retail District the hereinaf ter described property, which
was formerly and is presently designated as a SF-2 District, and
that the boundaries of the said General Retail District, be, and the
same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the County of Lamar and State of Texas,
within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, and
being the South 110 feet of Lot 24 in Block 296 of the
City of Paris, fronting 110 feet on the West Side of
35th Street, N. E. and extending 150 feet deep.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be,
and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of
Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No, 1710 and
the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in
regular session convened at Council Chambers on this the 9th day of
October, A. D., 1967.
