AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABI„ISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF
SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ON A TRACT OF LAND BE-
LONG TC7 A. W. SKEEN, JR,, ON THE EAST SIDE OF 13TH STREET, N. W.,
AND NORTH OF WEST CHERRY STREET, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
FORMERLY DESIGNATEfl AS A SF-2 DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDA-
RIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are
hereby changed, and that a Commercial District, be, and the same is
hereby established on a tract of land bebnging to A. W. Skeen, Jr.,
on the East Side of 13th Street, N. W., and North of West Cherry
Street, so as to include in such Commercial District the hereinafter
described property, which was formerly and is presently designated
as a SF.-2 District, and that the boundaries of said Commercial Dis•.
trict, be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Beginning at a point in the E. B. L.ine of 13th Street, N.W,,
the S. W. corner of the A. W. Skeen, Jr. property in City
Block 84; Thence East approximately 420 feet, the W. B. Line
of the G.C. & S.F. Ry. right of way; Thence Northerly with
said right of way W. B. L,ine approximately 350 feet, the
N. E. corner of said Skeen property; Thence West approxi.-
mately 420 f eet to the said E. B. Line of 13th Street, N.W,;
Thence South with said E. B. Line approximately 420 feet to
the place of beginning.
Section 2, That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and
he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris,
in accordance with the provision.s of Qrdinance No, 1710 and the land
use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions
of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4, This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Faris in
regulax session cnnvened at Council Chambers on this the llth day
of December, A. D., 1967.
