AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIF. DISTRICT SO
ESTABLISHED,
BE IT ORDAINED SY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FARIS:
Section 1, That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the
same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District be,
and the same is hereby established on the North Side of I.amar
Avenue, West of 12th Street, N. E., on property belonging to Jim
A. Miles, Florence Johnson, Norma Jean Gillie, A. F. Bryan, H,
Leverett North, Bobby Mitchell, T. Y. Womack, and Evelyn B. Rushing,
so as to include in such General Retail District the hereinafter
described properties, which were formerly and are presently desig-
nated as an affice District and an MF»1 District, and the bounda•-
ries of such General Retail District be, and the same are hereby
established as f ollows:
The property belonging to Jim A. Miles, being 162 feet
on the West Side of 12th Street, N. E. and extending
f rom Lamar Avenue to East Houston Street.
Also the property West of the above properties, belong.-
ing to Florence Johnson, at the address of 1115 and
1125 Lamar Avenue.
The property belonging to Norma Jean Gillie, located
at 1116 East Houston Street,
The property belonging to A. F. Bryan, located at 1106
East Houston Street.
The property belonging to H. T:everett North, located at
1105 L.amar Avenue,
The property belonging to Sobby Mitchell, located at
1060 East Houston Streeto
The property belonging to T. Y. Womack, located at 1059
Lamar Avenue,
The property belonging to Evelyn B. Rushing, located at
1049 Lamar Avenue,
Being all of the property Ea.st of a lot belonging to
Charlie M. Hill, at 1029 Lamar Avenue, and extending
East to 12th Street, N. E.
Section 2, That the City `Engineer of the City of Faris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City
of Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710
and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with
the proyisi ns pf this.ordinance. The above properties are hereby
placed in t~e Fire Limits.
Section 3, Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in con»
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4, This ordinance shall become eff ective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris
in regular session convened at Council Chambers on this the 12th
day of February, A. D., 1968.
