SPEED LIMITS WITHIN THE CITY L.IMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS BY PRO-
VIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCE NO, 1736, IN SQ FAR A.S IT AFFECTS
EAST PRICE STREET, BETLJEEN THE E. B. LIN'E OF 20TH STREET, N. E.
AND THE W. B. LINE OF 25TH STREET, N. E., AND FIXING THE SFEED
LIMIT IN SAID AREA ON EAST PRICE STREET, FROM THE E. B. I,INE OF
20TH STREET, N. E. TO THE W. B. LINE OF 25TH STREET, N. E., AT
30 MILES PER HOUR; FRQVIDING FOR A PENALTY; REPEALING ALL ORDI•-
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED SY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY C}F PARIS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1624 and Ordinance No. 1736
be, and the same are hereby amended by repealing the speed limit
of 20 miles per houx on East Price Street, between the East
Boundary Line of 20th Street, N. E. and the West Boundary Line
of 25th Street, N. E., and that the speed limit is hereby fixed
on East Price Street, from the E. B. Line of 20th Street, N. E.
to the W. B. Line of 25th Street, N. E., at 30 miles per hour.
Section 2. That any person violating the provision of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con••
viction shall be fined in a sum not exceeding Two Hundred
($200.00) Dollars.
Section 3, All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme--
diately upon passage and publication.
