1860 ORD APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS OF EQUALIZATION BOARDORDINANCE NO. 1860
AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS OF THE EQUALIZ,ATION
BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO SERVE FOR THE CURRENT TAXABLE YEAR,
ESTABLISHING THE TIME FOR THE FIRST MEETING OF THE EQUALIZATION
BOARD, ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF.PAY FOR THE MEMBERS OF SAID BOARD,
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1, That R. S. Biard, Ben Marable, and W. B.
Richards, all residents of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas,
and qualified voters and real property owners in said City, be,
and they are hereby appointed as the Board of Equalization of the
C.ity of Paris for the current taxable year.
Section 2. The time of the meeting of said Equalizati.on
Board is hereby fixed for the 3rd day of June, A. D., 1968.
Section 3, The regular place of ineeting ofand for the
Equalization Board is hereby fixed an d established as the Council
Room in the Municipal Building in the City of Paris, Texas,
Section 4, The rate of pay for each such appointed mem-
ber of said Equalization Board for the current taxable year is
hereby established at the rate of Thirty ($30.00) Dollars per
day, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
make payment out of the City funds to such members at such rate
of pay of Thirty ($30,00) Dollars per day.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become ef:Eective imme-
diately upon passageo
