AN ORDINANCE CLASSIFYING AND PROVIDING FOR THE NUMBER QF
FIREMEN IN THE PARIS FIRE DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE CLASSI..
FICATION OF FIREMEN AS ONE (1) FIRE MARSHA.L, WHO SHALL ALSO
SERVE_AS AN ASSISTANT CHIEF OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, TWO (2)
ASSISTANT CHIEFS~ SIX (6) ENGINEERS, FOUR (4) DRIVERS,, AND
TVJENTY (20) FIREMEN; AND REPEALING AI-L ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARISo
Section l, That the Fire Department of the City of Paris
shall be thirty-three (33) in number and classified as follows:
One (1) Fire Marshal, who shall also serve as an Assistant Chief
of the Fire Department, Two (2) Assistant Chiefs, Six (6)
Engineers, Four (4) Urivers, and Twenty (20) Firemen.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be and become effective
on the lst day of July, 1968.
