AN QRDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY SHOWN IN THE PLAT OF PORTERtS
SECOND ADDITION, LYING ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHERN BOUNDARY LINE OF
LOTS 1 THRU 17 OF BLOCK D OF SAID ADDITION, AS KECORDED IN BOC)K
104, PAGE 482, OF THE DEED RECORDS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXA.S, AND DE»
CLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED OF SAID ALLEY FOR CITY USE, AND-PRO»
VIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 8, 1968,
WHEREAS, i.t has been brought to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Faris that an alley as shown in the Flat
of Porter's Second Addition to tnTest Paris, Texas, recorded in Book
104, Page 482, of the Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas, to lie
adjacent to the Southern Boundary Line of Lots 1 thru 17 of Block
D of said Addition, has never been used as an alley and i.s of no
use as an alley to the City of Paris or to its citizens, and the
Council so finds; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF:PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS : -
Section 1, That the alley as shown in the P'lat of P'orter's
Second Addition to West Paris, Texas, which is recorded in Boolc
104, Page 482, of the Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas, and
being adjacent to the Southern Boundary Line of Lots 1 thru 17 of
Block D of said Addition, is hereby closed.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on July 81,
1968.
