AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY LYING BETWEEN THE WEST
BOUNDARY LINES OF LOTS 1 THRU 6 AND THE EAST BQUNDARY LI1VES OF
LOTS 7 THRU 12, BLOCK 6 OF THE TEXA.S & PACIFIC RAILWAY ADDITI~'~V
TO THE CITY OF PARIS, AS RECORDED IN BQOK 53, F'AGE 445, DEED
RECORDS, LAMAR COUNTYi TFXA,S, AND DECLARING NQ NECESSITY OR
NEED OF SAID ALLEY FOR CITY USE AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE OF JANUARY 13, 1.969.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, that an alley, as
shown in the plat of the Texa.s & P'acific Railway Addition to the
City of Faris, recorded in Book 53, P'age 445, Deed Recorr7s, Lamar
County, Texas, being 20 f'eet in width and lying between the West
Boundary Lines of Lo+s 1 thru 6 and the F-ast Boundary Lines of
Lots 7 thru 12 of' Block 6 of said Addition, has never been used
as an alley and is of nc- use as an alley to theCity of I'aris or
to its citizens, and the Council so finds; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDA.INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section l. That the alley, as shown in the plat of the
Texas & Pacific Rail:vay Addition to the City of Paris, recorded
in Boolc 53, Fage 445, Deed Records, Lamar Gounty, Texas, being
20 feet in width and lying between the West Boundary Lines of
Lots 1 thru 6 and the East Boundary Lines of Lots 7 thru 12 of
Block 6 of said L`_ddition, is hereby closed.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
January 13, 1969.
