AN ORDINANCE A2ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1651, FIXING CERTAIN
SPEED L1IKITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS BY PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF
SECTION 1( a)(1 ) OF SAID ORDINANCE NO.1659 ; REPEALING ALL OR-
DINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE OF MARCH 24, 1969.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No.1651, Section 1( a)(1 be,
and the same is hereby amended by repealing the speed limit of
20 miles per hour on 28th Street, S. E.,beginning at the North
West Corner of a tract of land belonging to the Paris
Independent School District, where Crockett Junior High School
is now located, and continuing South to the South West Corner
of the af'oresaid lot.
Section 2. All ordinances or p arts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become eff ective on
Mar ch 24, 1969.
