1717 ORD APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS OF EQUALIZATION BOARD OF COPORDINANCE NO. 1717
AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS OF THE EQUALIZATION
BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO SERVE FOR THE CURRENT TAXABLE YEAR,
ESTABLISHING THE TIME FOR THE FIRST MEETING OF THE EQUALIZATION
BOARD, ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF PAY FOR THE MEMBERS OF SAID
BOARD, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That Don Wair, W. A. Cawthon, and R. S. Biard,
all residents of the City of Parisa Lamar County, Texas, and
qualified voters and real property owners in said City; bea and
they are hereby appointed as the Board of Equalization of the
City of Paris for the current taxable year.
Section 2. The time of the meeting of said Equalization
Board is hereby fixed for the lst day of June, A.D., 1965.
Section 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for the
Equalization Board is hereby fixed and established as the Council
Room in the Municipal Building in the City of Paris, Texas.
Section 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed member
of said Equalization Board fox the current taxable year is hereby
established at the rate of Twenty-Five ($25.00) Dollars per day,
and the City Manager is hereby authorized an d directed to make
payment out of the City funds to such members at such rate of pay
of Twenty-Five ($25.00) Dollars per day.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
