1726 ORD SETTING DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTYORDINANCE NO. 172_6 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION DIRECTING THEOMAYOR 'TO PUBLISITY OTICEROF, TEXAS, AND RUTHORIZING A~ SUCH PUBLIC HEARING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. On the 28th day of June, A.D., 1965, at 7:00 o'clock p. M., in the City Council Chamber of the City Hall of the City of Paris, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Paris, Texas of the following described property, to-wit: Beginning at a stake where the most Western City Limit Line of the City of Paris intersects the S.B. Line of Highway 82; Thence West with the S.B. Line of Highway 82 to the North West Corner of a tract of land belonging to Kay Brown and described as follows: Situated in Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Isaac Cruise Survey, and being a part of a 90.13 acre tract of land conveyed Kay Brown by deed recorded in Vol. 390, Page 132, of the Deed Records of said County and State. Beginning at a stake for corner in the South Boundary Line of Bonham St., said point being the Northeast corner of said Brown tract; Thence South along the East Boundary Line of said tract, a distance of 1110 ft. to a stake for corner; Thence West a distance of 720 ft. to a stake for corner; Thence North a distance of 1110 ft. to a stake for corner in the South Boundary Line of Bonham St.; Thence East along the South Boundary Line of Bonham St., a distance of 720 ft. to the place of beginning; Thence South a distance of 1110 feet; Thence West with the S.B. Line of the Kay Brown tract to the Soath East Corner of said tract; Thence North with the E. B. Line of the Kay Brown tract to a point 300 feet South of the S.B. Line of Highway 82; Thence East and parallel with the S.B. Line of Highway 82 to the W.B. Line of the present City Limits; Thence South with said West Boundary Line to a point which wauld be a westward extension of the N.B. Line of Sherman Street to a point 600 feet West of the centerline of the outer loop of Highway Loop No. 286; Thence South and East and parallel with the centerline aforesaid at a distance of 600 feet from said centerline, to a point in a road which would be the extension of 6th Street, S.E.; Thence South with the W.B. Line of said extension of bth Street, S.E. to the existing City Limit Line in South Paris. Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Paris, Texas is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in a newspaper having gneral cixculation in the City and in the above described territory not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act (Chapter 160, Acts of the 58th Legislature, Regular Session, 1963; compiled as 970a, Vexnon's Texas Civil Statutes).
