ORDINANCE NO. 1755 . AN ORDINANCE AMEND~NG THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE `:,ITY OF PARIS, TEXASy AND CHAN~'-_XING THE BJUIVDARIE5 ESTABLISHED BY THE ZON- ING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISIiNG A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ON A TR.ACT OF LAND LOCATED :E~:AST QF Lf3OP HIGHWAY NO. 286 AND SOUTH OF U. S. HIGHWAY NO, 82 EAST, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO LESLIE G. CHAPMAN AND L. P. CHAPMAN, SO AS TO INCLTJDj~~; THEREIN TERRITORY Ft?RMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE i.OMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CCaUNCIL OF THE i,ITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning M.ap and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District, be, and the same is hereby established on a tract of land located East of Loop Highway No. 286 and South of U. S. Highway No. 82 East, on property belonging to Leslie G. Chapman and L. P. Chapman, so as to include in such Commercial Di.strict the hereinafter described property, which was :brmerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural D:istrict, and that the boundaries of said Commercial District, be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and Being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey and part of a 19.7 acre tract as shown in Deed from Joe F. Richardson and wife, Virginia E. Richardson to Covy Williams andwife, Catherine Williams, and recorded in Vol. 355, page 201 and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the E. B. Ene of said Richardson to W 4lliams tract where the South R.O.W. line of Highway 82 crosses said E. B. line. THENCE along said R.O.W. line S 34 deg. 51t W. 153.9 feet a stake; THENCE continuing with said R. O. W. South 3 deg. 59r E. 632. 3 feet, a stake; THENCE South 15 deg. 33a East 240. 3 feet a point where the East R.O. W. line crosses the EB line of above mentioned 19. 7 acre tract. THENCE North 0 deg. 51= West 995 feet more or less to point of Beginning, containing 1.425 acres, more or less. Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in accordance with the pro- visions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
