AN ORDjNANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY UF PARIS,, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP t7F SAID CITY; ESTABLISHIN G ACOMMERCIAL DISTRICT ON A TRACT C?F LAND ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LOOP HIGHWAY NO, 286 N. E,, , ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO V.A. ROGERS AND G. C. FARMER,, 50 AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTUR_AL DISTRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUND 4RIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO E,STASLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District, be, and the same is hereby established on a tract of land on the North Side of Loop Highway No. 286 N. E„ on property be- longing to V, A. Rogers and G. C. Farmer, so as to include in such Commercial District the hereinafter described property, wnich was formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District, and that the boundaries of said Cominercial District, be, and the same are hereby established as follow s: Being located immediately North of the City of Paris, in the Northern portion of the City of Paris, and on the North Side of Highway Loop 286. Beginning at the S. E. Corner of a tract of land belonging to G. C. Farmer, on the North Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286; Thence North and West with the E. B. Line of the Farmer tract and the E. B. Line of a tract belonging to V. A. Rogers to a pointwhere the same intersects the N. B. Line of the present City Limit Line; Thence W est with the present City Limit Line to a point in the W. B. Line of the V. A. Rogers tract; Thence 5outh and East with the W. B. Line of the Rogers tract to the N. B. Line of Loop Highway 286; Thence East with the N. B. Line of Loop Highway 286 to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Sectian 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in regular session convened at Council Chambers on thi the 13th day of December, A. D., 1965. .
