<br />DISTRICT ON TRACTS OF LAND ON THE WEST SIDE OF 12TH STREET.,
<br />S. E. BETWEiN CLARKSVILLE STREET AND L.4M,AR .AVENUE, ON PRO-
<br />PERTY BELONGING TO W, B. VAUGHAN, BEN C. MAR.ABLE, AND vIR5.
<br />S. D, BAXTER, 50 AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DE-
<br />SIGNATED AS A MTJLTIPLE rAMILY DWELLING .NO. 1 DISTRICT; AND
<br />DESIGNATING TEiE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT SO

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VITY COUNCIL (JF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS, TEX.AS:
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning
<br />Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby changed,
<br />and that a General Retail D: strict, be, and the same is hereby established on
<br />tracts of land on the W est Side of 12th Street, S. E. , between Clarksville Street
<br />and Lamar Avenue, on property belonging to W. B. Vaughan, Ben C. Miirable,
<br />and Mrs. S. D„ Baxter, so as to include in such General Retail District the
<br />hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated
<br />as a Multiple Family D-xelling No. 1 District, and that the boundaries of said
<br />General Retail District, be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
<br />TR.ACT 1: A part of the Larkin Rattan Survey within the corporate
<br />lim?.ts of the City of Paris on the W est Side of 12th Street, S. E. ,
<br />formerly South 30th Street, descr.ibed by metes and bounds as follows:
<br />BEGINN_LNG at a stake in the WB line of 12th Street S. E. at a
<br />point 50 feet South of a designated alxey;
<br />THENCE West 150 feet, a stake;
<br />THENCE South 50 feet, a stake at the NW corner of a lot
<br />formerly owned by H. L. Robinson;
<br />THEVC7E East 150 feet, a stake in the W"t3 .line of 12th Street
<br />S. E. ;
<br />THENCE North with the WB .line of said street 50 feet to the
<br />place of beginning.
<br />Being Lot 5 in Block 103-A of the City of Paris, Texas;
<br />Belonging to W. B. Vaughan.
<br />TRACT 2: Being a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, within the
<br />corporate limits of the City of Paris, being a part of City B1ock 103,
<br />and more particularly described as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at a point on the W zst Side of 12th Street, S. E. , at
<br />the S. E. Corner of a tract of land formerly belonging to E. L. M-yers,
<br />being the N. E. Corner of tract from -Helber to Ben Marable, deed
<br />recorded in Vol. 331, Page 465;
<br />THENCE West with the South Boundary Line of the E. L. M;Ters
<br />lot, a lot belonging to Ollie Nash, and a lot belonging to Ed Smith to
<br />the S. E. Corner of a tract belonging to B.lake Lee, and the North
<br />East Corner of a lot recently conveyed by Ben C. Marable to J. D.
<br />Burk;
<br />THENCE South with the W. B. Line of the Ben Marable-Lee
<br />tract, 65 feet;
<br />THENCE East to the W. B. Line of 12th Street, S. E. ;
<br />TH:ENCE North 64 feet to the place of beginning.
