YEAR BEGINNTNG JULY 1, 1966, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1967 IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE CH..ARTER OF THE CITY OF PARI5,

ING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT

WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris has submitted to the
City Council a proposed budget of the revenues of said City and the expenses
of conducting the affairs thereof and providing a complete financial plan for
the ensuing fiscal year, beginning July 1, 1966, and ending June 309 1967,
and which said proposed budget has been compiled from detailed information
obtained from the several departments, divisions and offices of the City; and
WHERE.AS, the City Council has received said Gity Managerzs proposed
budget, a copy of which proposed budget and all supporting schedules have
been filed wi.th the City Clerk of the Gity of Paris, and is of the opinion that
the same should be approved and adopted and that a public hearing before the
City Council has been provided for as required by Articl.e V, Section 50a of
the Charter of the City of Paris9 Texas;
NOW, THEREr ORE., BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY GO?JNCIL Or
THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1, That the propo sed budget of the revenues of the City of Paris
and the expenses of conducting the affairs thereof' providing a complete finan-
cial plan for the ensuing fiscal year beginning July ls 1966 and ending June 30,
1967, as submitted to the City Council by the City Manager of said City, be,
and the same is in all things adopted and approved as the budget of all of the
current expenses as well as the fixed charges against said City for the fiscal
year beginning July ls 19669 and ending June 30, 1967.
Section 2. That the sum of $l, 213, 122. 00 is hereby appropriated out of
the general fund for the payment of operating expenses and capital outlay of the
City government as hereinafter itemi.zed:

Section 3, That the sum cf $59, 348. 00 is hereby appropriated out of
the general debt service fund for the purpose of paying the interest due on
general obligation bonds andtime warrants, redeeming the serial bonds as
they mature, and creating a sinking fund therefor.
Section 4. The sum of $2873 411. 00 is hereby appropriated out of the
Water and Sewer RQvenue Bond Fund for the purpose of paying the accrued
interest and making the principal payments as the same ma.ture on the water
and sewer revenue bonds, and creating the prescribed contingent and reserve
funds therefor.
Section 5. All. ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewi.th
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. This ordinance shall be and remain in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval by the City Council of the Cityof Paris.
Read, adopted and approved by the City Council at a special meeting held
at the City Hall in the City of Paris, this 2nd day of May, 1966.
