BE IT ORI?AINEI? BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TETE CITY OF PART.S:
Section 1. That all of the 30 minute parking zneters heretofore crea*ed
by Article XXI, Section 4, Subsection (b), 30 Manute Metered Parking, of
Ordinance No. 1406, be, and the same are hereby reaealed, with the excep-
tion of those 30 minute parking meters located inside the Plaza area o.f the
downtown Public Square, and that all of the 30 minute metered parking spaces
heretofore -reated, except those around the Public Piaza, are hereby replaced
with 5~ for one hour and one penny for 12 minutes park3ng meter&, and such
spaces are hereby created.
Section 2. That Article XXI, Section 4, Subsection (a), 15 Minute Meters,
bA, and the same are all hereby repealed and are hereby replaced by one hour
parking xnetexs ap.d the same are hereby created, with the following exceptions:
(a) 3- 15 minute metered parking spaces between East Houston
and East Price, on the West aide of 2nd Street, N. E. , in
front of the Southwestern Bell Telephona Company building.
(b) 2- 15 minute meters on East Kaufman Street, on the North
SidQ, between S outh Main and 1 s tStreet, S. E. , by the Lone
Star Gas Company.
(c) 2- 15 minute meters on the East Side of lst Street, S. E. ,
between Kaufman Street and Clarksville 5treet, in front of
the : ity Hall.
Section 3, That Articie XXI, Section 4, Subsection (c), 60 Minute Meterecl
Parking, is hereby amandecl by adding thereto 2- 1 hour parking meters on the
West Side of 2nd Street, N. E. , betweeil East Houston Street antl East Price
Street, South of the antrance to the East Side flf the Southwestern Bell Teiephone
C ompany.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
