1641 ORD FIXING DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPERTY ON 32ND ST NWORDINANCE NO. 1641 . AN QRDINANCE FIXING THE DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PRC?- PERTY ON 32ND STREET, N. W., FROM THE N. B. LINE OF BONHAM STREET TO THE S. B. LINE OF GRAHAM STREET, IN THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAME THREE (3) TIMES IN THE PARIS NEWS A5 REQUIRED BY LAW, AND APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE FINAL ESTIMATE OF THE CUSTS OF SUCH CURB AND GUTTER AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS, AS FILED BY THE CITY EPVGI- 1VEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PAR.IS, TEXAS, AND FIXING THE CHARGES TO BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE ABUTTING PROPER,TY OWNERS AND THE CHARGES TQ BE PAID BY THE CITY OF PARIS, AND WITH THE INTENTION OF FIXING A CHARGE AND LIEN AGAINST SAID PRCIPERTY AND THE REAL AND TRUE OWNERS THER.EOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, T EXAS : Section 1, That the City Council, did, on the l lth day of March, A. D. , 1963, by Ordinance No, 1622, declare the necessity for the improvement of 32nd Street, N. W., by the installation of curbs and gutters and paving same, from the N. B. Line of Bonham Street to the S. B. Line of Graham Street, and it did then and there request the City Engineer to proceed with said work and directed the City Clerk to file notice of a lien to be claimed on the property belonging to the abutting property owners, which notice was filed by the City Clerk on the 12th day of March, 1963, in the Office of the County Clerk of Lamar County, Tex.as. Section 2. That the City Engineer has reported to the City Council the co sts of curb and gutter to the abutting property owner s and the co sts to the abutting property owners for two-thirds of the paving per front foot, and said costs so reported are: Costs of curb and gutter, $1, 55 per front foot; and the costs to the abutting property owners of $2.57415, or two-thirds of the street paving, per front foot. That said report has been, in all things, approved by the City Council of the City of Paris. That the date for public hearing before the City Council by the abutting property owners on the above described pro- perty is hereby fixed at 7:00 o'clock P. M., in the City Council Room, on the 9th day of September, A. D., 1963. Section 3. That it is the intention of the City Council to assess the abutting property owners as provided for and under the tErms and provisions of Chapter 106 of the Acts of the First Called Session of the 40th Legislature of the State of Tex.as, now known as Article 1105b of VernonES Tex.as Civil 5tatutes, under which law these proceedings are taken and had. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish in the Paris News notice of the above public hearing, three (3) times prior to said public hearing, as required by law.
