24TH STREET, S. E. AND CONTINUING TO THE W. B. LINE OF A CQN-

WESTERLY AND SOUTH EASTEKLY DIR,ECTION, IN THE CITY OF PARIS,
TEXAS, AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH 5AME THREE (3)

AND ACCEPTING THE FINAL ESTIMATE OF THE COSTS OF SUCH CURB
AND GUTTER AND STREET IMPROVEMENTSa AS FILED BY THE CITY
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS9 AND FIX-
ING THE CHARGES TO BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE ABUTTING PROPERTY
OWNERS AND THE CHARGE5 TQ BE PAID BY THE CITY OF PARIS, AND
WITH THE INTENTIUN OF FIXING A CHARGE AND LIEN AGAINST SAID
PROPERTY AND THE REAL AND TRUE OWNERS THEREOF,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section lo That the City Council, did, on the 12th day of August,
A, D, , 19632 by Ordinance No. 1640, declare the necessity for the improve-
ment of Hubbard Street, beginning at the E. B. Line of 24th Street, S. E.
and continuing to the W. B. Line of a concrete drainage structure crossing
said street in a North Westerly and South Easterly direction, by the installa-
tion of curbs and gutters and paving same9 and it did then and there request
the City Engineer to proceed with said work and directed the City Clerk to
file notice of a lien to be claimed on the property belonging to the abutting
propeirty owners, which notice was filed by the City Clerk on the 14th day of
August, 1963, in the Office of the County Clerk ofLa,mar County, Texas,
Section 2, That the City Engineer has reported to the City Council
the costs of &rb and gutter to the abutting property owners and the costs to
the abutting property owners for two-thirds of the paving per front foot, and
said costs so reported are: Costs of curb and gutter, $1, 50 per front foot;
and the costs to the abutting property owners of $2. 01809, or two-thirds of
the street paving, per front foot. That said report has been, in all things,
approved by the City Council of the City of Paris. That the date for public
hearing before the City Council by the abutting property owners on the above
described property is hereby fix.ed at 7:00 0tclock P. M., in the City Council
Room, on the llth day of November, A. D,, 1963,
Section 3, That it is the intention of the City Council to assess the
abutting property owners as provided for and under the terms and provisions
of Chapter 106 of the Acts of the First Called Session of the 40th Legislature
of the State of Texas9 now known as Article 1105b of Vernonts Tex.as Civil
Statutes, under which law these proceedings are taken and had. That the City
Clerk is hereby directed to publish in the Paris News notice of the above
public hearing, three (3) times prior to said public hearing, as required by
