1654 ORD FIXING DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPERTY ON 33RD ST SEORDINANC E NO, 1654 0 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPERTY ON 33RD STREET, S. E., FROM THE N. B. LI1VE OF CLARKSVILLE STREET TO THE S. B. LINE OF AUDUBON ROAD, IN THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAME THREF_ (3) TIMES IN THE PARIS NEWS A5 REQUIRED BY LAW, AND APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE FINAL E5TIMATE OF THE COSTS QF SUCH CURB AND GUTTER AND STREET IMPROVEMENT5, AS FILED BY THE CITY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND FIXING THE GHARGES TO BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS AND THE CHARGES TO BE PAID BY THE CITY OF PARIS, AND WITH THE INTENTION OF FIXING A CHARGE AND LIEN AGAINST SAID PROPERTY AND THE REAL AND TRUE OWNERS THEREOF, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: 5ection 1. That the City Council, did, on the l lth day of March, A. D. , 1963, by Ordinance No. 1623, declare the necessity for the improvement of 33rd Street, S. E., from the N. B. Line of Clarksville Street to the S. B. Line of Audubon Road, by the installation of curbs and gutters and paving same, and it did then and there request the City Engineer to proceed with said work and directed the City Clerk to file notice of a lien to be claimed on the property belonging to the abutting property owners, which notice was filed by the City Clerk on the 12th day of March, 1963, in the Office of the County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas. Section 2. That the City Engineer has reported to the City Council the costs of curb and gutter to the abutting property owners and the co sts to the abutting property owners for two-thirds of the paving per front foot, and said costs so re- ported are: Costs of curb and gutter, $1.55 per front foot; and the costs to the abutting property owners of $2. 6123, or two -thirds of the street paving, per front foot. That said report has been, in all things, approved by the City Council of the City of Paris. That the date for public hearing before the City Council by the abutting property owners on the above described property is hereby fix.ed at 7:00 otclock P. M., in the City Gouncil Room, on the l lth day of November, A. D., 1963. Section 3. That it is the intention of the City Gouncil to assess the abutting property owners as provided for and under the terms and provisions of Chapter 106 of the Acts of the First Called Session of the 40th Legislature of the State of Texas, now known as Article 1105b of Vernon's Tex.as Civil Statutes, under which law these proceedings are taken and had. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish in the Paris News notice of the above public hearing, three (3) times prior to said public hearing, as required by law. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris, in regular session convened, on this the 14th day of October, A, D, , 1963.
