1672 ORD APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS OF EQUALIZATION BOARD OF COPORDINANCE NO. 1672 ,
AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS OF THE EQUALIZA-
TION BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO SERVE FOR THE CURRENT
TAXABLE YEAR, ESTABLISHING THE TIME FOR THE FIRST MEETING
OF THE EQUALIZATION BOARD, ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF PAY FOR
THE MEMBERS OF SAID BOARD, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GITY COUNGIL OF THE GITY OF PARIS:
Section 1, That Don Wair, W. A. Cawthon, and R. S. Biard, all resi-
dents of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and qualified voters and
real property owners in said City, be, and they are hereby appointed as the
Board of Equalization of the City of Paris for the current tax.able year.
Section 2. The time of the meeting of said Equalization Board is here-
by fixed for the 1 st day of June, A. D. , 1964,
Section 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for the Equalization
Board is hereby fixed and established as the Council Room in the Municipal
Building in the City of Paris, Texas.
Section 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed member of said
Equalization Board for the current taxable year is hereby established at the
rate of Twenty-Five ($25.00) Dollars per day, and the City Manager is
hereby authorized and directed to make payment out of the City funds to
such members at such rate of pay of Twenty-Five ($25. 00) Dollars per day.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
