AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1406, ARTICLE XXI,,
SECTION 3, SUBSECTION (c), AND SUBSECTION (3) THEREUNDER, BY DE-
LETING THER.EFROM THE AUTHORIZED LOADING ZONE IN THE CENTER
OF THE BLOCK ON THE WEST SIDE OF 2ND STREET, N. E., BETWEEN
LAMAR AVENUE AND EAST HOUSTON 5TREET, WHICH WOULD BE THE
SECOND AND THIRD METERED PARKING SPACES AT SAID LOCATION,,
AND AMENDING ARTICLE XXI, SECTION 4s SUBSECTION (c), 60 MINUTE
METERED PARKING, BY CREATING TWO 60 MINUTE METERED PARKING
SPACES, BEING THE SECOND AND THIRD METERED PARKING SPACES
SOUTH OF THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF EAST HOUSTON 5TREET AND
ON THE WEST SIDE OF 2ND 5TREET, N. E. ; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY;
REPEALING ALL QRDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFEC TIVE DA TE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That Article XXI9 Section 3, Subsection (c)g and Subsection
(3) thereunder, "Authorized Loading Zones be, and the same is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the Loading Zone provided for therein on 2nd
Streety N. E., between Lamar Avenue and East Houston Street, on the West
Side of 2nd 5treet, N. E., andbeing what would be the second and third metered
parking spaces.
Section 2. That Ordinance No. 1406, Article XXI, Section 4s Subsectian
(c), 1160 Minute Metered Parking "s be, and the same is hereby amended by
adding thereto, in the space above mentioned, on the West Side of 2nd Street,,
N. E. 9 two 60 minute metered parking spaces, being spaces two and three
South of the South Boundary Line of East Houston Street, and on the W est 5ide
of 2nd Street, N. E.
Sectian 3. The penalty shall be the penalty provided for over parking
in Ordinance No. 1406.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 5, The effective date of this ordinance shall be upon its
passage.
