AN QRDINANCE APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS OF THE
EQUALIZATZON BOAR.D OF THE CITY QF PARIS TO SERVE FOR THE
CURRENT YEAR, ESTABLISHING THE T'XME FOR THE FZRST MEET-
IlVG OF THE EQUALIZATION BO.AR.D, ESTABLISHING THE R.ATE OF
PAY FOR THE MEMBERS OF SAzD BOARD, AND PROVIDIING AN
EFFEC TIVE DATE,
BE IT ORDAIlVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARISt
Section lo That Don Wairy C. C. Dubbs, and R. S. Biard, each
and all of whom are residents of the City of Paris, Lamar County,
Texas, and qualified voters and real property owners in said CityF be,
and they are hereby appointed as the Board of Equalization of the City
of Paris for the current taxable year.
Section 2. The time of the meeti.ng of said Equalization Board is
hereby fixed for the lst day of June, A. D., 19600
Section 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for said
Equalization Board is hereby fixed and established as and at the
Council Room in the Municipal Building in the City of Paris, Lamar
County, Texas.
Section 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed member of
said Equalization Board for the current taxable year is hereby
established at the rate of $250 00 per day, and the City Ma.na,ger a.s
hereby authorized and directed to make payment out of the City funds
to such members at such rate of pay of $25.00 per day.
Section 5o This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
