AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE RATE FOR WATER AND SEWER
TAPS TO BE PAID TO THE CITY OF PARIS, FIXING A RATE OF
$35, 00 FOR WATER TAPS IlVSTALLED AND PLACED ON HARD
SURFACE STREETS, $20, 00 FOR WATER TAFS PLACED ON UN-
IMPROVED STREETS, AND F]:XING THE FEE TO BE PAID THE
CITY OF PARIS FOR SEWER TAPS OF $30.00 ON HARD SUR7ACE
STREETS, AND A FEE OF $200 00 ON UNIMPROVED STREETS, AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR LAWS IN CONFLICT THEREWITH,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CxTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FART'S;
Section 1. That each person, firm, or corporatian desiring a water
tap within the City of Paris shall make application to the Department of
Public Works therefor and ahall pay for a water tap which requires the
breaking of the surface of a hard surface street and the repair thereof,
the sum of $350 00. That each person, firm, or corporation, desiring a
water tap to be installed or placed on an unimproved or dirt street shall
make alplication to the Public Works Department of the City of Paxis
and pay therefor9 the sum of $20. 00.
Section 2. That each person, firm, or corporation desiring a sewer
tap within the City of Paris shall make application to the I?epartment of
Public Works therefor and shall pay for a sewer ta.p which requires the
breaking of the surface of a hard surface street and the repair thereof,
the sum of $30.00. Tha,t each person, firm, or corporation making
application for a sewer tap, if the same is to be placed on an unimproved
streetp shall pay therefor the sum of $20. 00.
5ection 3. That any person, firm, or corporation desiring a water
or sewer tap on any area located off of the streets of the City of Paris
shall make applicat3on to the Department of Public Works for the same,
and shall pay therefor a fee of $20., 00 each.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately.
