AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS OF THE EQUALI-
ZATION BOARI? OF THE CITY OF P.ElRIS TO SERVE FOR THE CURRENT
TAXABLE YEAR, ESTABLISHING THE TIME FOR THE FIRST MEETING
OF THE EQUALIZATION BOARD, ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF PAY
FOR THE MEMBERS OF SAID BOARD, AND PROVIDING AN EFFEC TIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PAR.]S:
Section 1. That Don Wair, C. C. Dubbs, and R. S. Biard, all residents
of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and qualified voters and real
property owners in said City, be, and they are hereby appointed as the
Board of Equalization of the City of Paris for the current taxable year.
Section 2. The time of the meeting of said Equalization Board is
hereby fised for the 5th day of June, A. D. , 1961.
Section 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for said Equalization
Board is hereby fixed and established at the Council Room in the Municipal
Building in the City of Paris, Texas.
Section 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed member of said
Equalization Board for the current taxable year is hereby established at
the rate of Twenty-Five ($25. 00) Dollars per day, and the Gity Manager is
hereby authorized and directed to make payment out of the City funds to
such members at such rate of pay of Twenty-Five ($25. 00) Dollars per day.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
