PARKING SPACES, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE, ANI? PROVIDING
FOR A PENAL TY FOR VIOLA TION OF SAID SEC TION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That Traffic Ordinance No. 1406 and Ordinance No. 1537
be, and they are hereby amended as follows:
Subsection 1(a), Article XXI, Section 4, Subsection (a), "15 Minute
Metered Parking", by adding to Paragraph 7 thereof, three - 15 minute
metered parking spaces on the West Side of 3rd Street, N. E., between
Lamar Avenue and East Houston Street, to replace the three - 1 hour
parking meters now existing thereon.
Section 2. The penalty provided for overparking in Ordinance No.
1406 is applied to a violation for overparking on the 15 minute metered
parking spaces designated above.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediat ely upon
passage.
