AN OR.DINANGE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1420;
REMOVING AND EXCLUDING FROIVI THE "FIRST FIRE LIMITS" A LOT
ON THE NORTH SII?E OF FORT STREET WHERE THE NORTH BOUND-
ARY LINE OF FORT STREET INTERSECTS THE EAST BOUNDARY
LINE OF 6TH STREE T, S. E., AND BEING A LOT APPR.OXIMATELY
142 FEET ON THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF 6TH STREET, S. E. AND
255 FEET ON THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF FORT STREET, AND
BELONGING TO THE ESTATE OF F. L. WEAR, DECEASED; CORRECT-
ING THE PRESENT FIRE LIMITS MAP IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THIREWITH; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR AN EFFEC TIVE DA TE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PA RIS:
Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1420, be, and the same
is hereby amended, so as to remove and exclude from the "First Fire
Limits" of the City of Paris, Texas, the following described property:
Situated in the Gounty of Lamar and State of Texas,
and in the City of Paris, in the Larkin Rattan Headright
Survey, on the East Side of 6th Street, S. E. ;
BEGINNING at a stake 60' West of Will Long's South
Boundary Line the N. E. Cor. of a tract of land ccazveyed
to John E. Barry by J. M. and Mary C. Fort on March 7th,
1887;
THENCE West 70' a stake;
THENCE North 17' a sta.ke;
THENCE West 185' to the East Boundary Line of 6th
Street, S. E. ;
THENCE South 142' to the North Boundary Line of
Fort Street;
THENCE East 2551;
THENCE North 125' to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the tract of land hereinabove described, be, and
the same is hereby removed and excluded from the "First Fire Limits"
of the Gity of Paris, Texas, as the same now exists, and that the City
Engineer be, and he is heieby authorized and directed to change the
present Fire Limits Map of the City of Paris, in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
Section 4. All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
