AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANGE NO. 1553, CHANGING
THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE 20NING MAP OF THE
CITY OF PARIS; ESTABLISHING A"G" COMMERCIAL I?ISTRICT ON
A STRIP BELONGING TO W. E. BROWN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THERE-
IN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS RESII?ENTIAL ANI? NON-
CONFORMING; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "G"
COMMERCIAL DISTRiCT SO ESTABLISHEI?.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PA RIS:
Section 1, That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are
hereby changed, and that a"G" Commercial District be, and the same
is hereby established on all of the property belonging to W. E. Brown,
on the North Side of Lamar Avenue and immediately North of a 200 foot
strip, facing on Lamar Avenue and extending North to the °South Boundary
Line of the properties described in Ordinance No. 1553, so as to include
in such "G" Commercial District the hereinafter described property,
which was formerly and is presently designated as Residential and Non-
conforming, and the boundaries of said 'OG" Commercial District be, and
the same are hereby esta.blished as follows;
Beginning at the North East Corner of the W. E. Brown
lot;
Thence West to the North West Corner of said W. E.
Brown tract;
-Tkience South to a point 200 feet North of the North
Boundary Line of Lamar Avenue;
Thence East to the E. B. Line of the W. E. Brown
tract;
Thence North with the E. B. Line of said W. E. Brown
tract to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the purpose of this ordinance is to correct an
area overlooked in Zoning Ordinance No4 1553, it being the intention of
the City Oouncil to zone all of the property extending from East Price
Street to Lamar Avenue.
Section 3. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris be, and he
is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris, in
accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1409, as amended, and
in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby expressly repealed.

Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the Gity of Paris in
special session convened at Gouncil Ghambers on this the 18th day of
July, ! A. D., 1961.
