AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1406, THE TRAFFIC
ORDINANCE, ARTICLE XXI, SEC TION 2, PA RKING PROHIBITED A T
ALL TIMES IN DESIGNATED PLACES, BY ADDING THERETO THE
NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES OF WEST HOUSTON STREET, FROM 4TH
STREET, N. W. TO THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 5TH STREET,
N. W.; AND ON THE NORTH SIDE OF CLARKSVILLE STREET BETWEEN
13TH STREET, S. E. AND 16TH STREET, S. E, ; REPEALING ALL ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PA RIS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1406, Article XXT, Section 2,
"Parking Prohibited at all Times in Designated Places'; be, and the same
is hereby amended, and parking is hereby prohibited as provided for in
said section, at all times, on West Houston Street, from 4th Street, N. W.
to 5th Street, N. W. , on both sides of said West Houston Street, and on the
North Side of Clarksville Street between 13th Street, S. E. and 16th Street,
S. E.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
Section 3. The penalty provided for in Ordinance No. 1406 for park-
ing in prohibited areas is hereby declared the penalty for parking in the
above areas.
Sectinn 4, This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage and publication.
