AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3(e) OF ORDINANCE NO.
1277 AND AMENDING SEC TIUN 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1404, AND
CHANGING THE FEE TO BE CHARGED FOR CERTIFIED COPIES OF
BIRTH OR DEA TH CERTIFICA TES.
BE IT ORDAIIVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That Section 3(e) of Ordinance No. 1277 and Section 1
of Ordinance No. 1404, providing for the Regi.-trar of the Lama.r County
Health Unit to charge certain fees as follows: Ordinance No. 1277 provid-
ing for a fee of 50~ for each certified copy of a birth or death certificate
and Ordinance No. 1404 permitting a charge of $1. 00 for each certified
copy of a birth or death certificate issued by the Lamar County Health
Unit of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, shall be amended as follows:
'The Registrar is authorized and directed to furnish upon
request to any qualified applicant a certified copy of a
record or any part thereof, recorded as above provided,
for which a fee of One and 50/100 ($1.50) Dollars shall be
paid by the applicant; provided that such certified copy
shall be issued in only such'form as approved by the Sta,te
Department of Health, and receipts shall be by said
Registrar issued to such applica,nts upon receipt forms
furnished and provided by the City of Paris, and all such
fees, collected shall be by said Registrar paid to the City
of Paris monthly hereafter, rr
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective September 1, A. D.,
1961.
