AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANGE NO. 1448, SECTION 1,
AND ORDINANCE NO. 1406, ARTICLE XXI, BY DELETING THEREFROM
A RESTRICTED PARKING AREA AND CREATING THEREIN A BUS 5TOP
AND PROHIBITING ALL OTHER PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
LAMAR AVENUE EXTENDJNG FRQM ITS IlVTERSECTION WITH THE
PUBLIC SQUARE, EAST 65 FEET, AND FROVIMG FOR A PENALTY
FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCZI.. OF THE CITY OF
PARI.S, TEXAS:
Section 1, That Ordinance No. 1448, Section 1 thereof, which was
an amendment to Ordinance No. 1406 and to Article XXI of Ordinance No,
1406, be amended by deleting from Ordinance No. 1448, prohibiting park-
ing at all hours on the North Side of Lamar Avenue, extending from the
intersection of Larnar Avenue with the Public Square, East a distance of
65 feet, and by adding thereto the creation of a Bus Stop for said area
and prohibiting all parking other than for a Bua Stop, loading and unload-
ing.
Secti.on 2. That all persons, other than busses when loading and
unloading, who shall park a motor vehicle in said area shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not to exceed
One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars.
