AN ORDINANCE CLASSIFYING AND PRCVIDING FOR THE NUMBER
OF POLICEMEN IN THE PARIS POLICE DEFARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR
THE CLASSIFICATION OF POLICEMEN, AS ONE (1) CAPTAIN, TWp (2)
LIEUTENANTS, SIx (b) SERGEANTS, AND FIFTEEN (15) PATROLMEN;
AND REpEALING ALL ORI?INANCES ]N CONFLIC T HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL GF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the Police Department of the City of Paris shall be
twenty-four (24) in number, and classified aa follows: One (1) Captain,
Two (2) Lieutenants, Six (6) Sergeants, and Fifteen (15) Patrolmen.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 3. Triis ordinance shall be and become effective ten (10) days
after passage.
Passed and adopted this 15th day of March, A. D., 1962.
