AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISH-
ED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A"G" COMMER-
CA IL DIS TRIC T ON THE SDUTH SIDE QF LA biA R A VENUE AND ON THE
WEST SIDE OF A PROSPECTNE NEW STREET, TO BE KNOWN AS 28th
STREET, S. E., SAID FROPERTY BELONGIIVG TO MRS. ALTA HARRIS,
CHARLES O'BRIEN, COVY WILLLAMS, AND EARL WILSC)N, SO AS TO IN-
CLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN "E"
COMMUNITY STORE DI5TRICT; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF
THE "G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARTS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore eatablished by the Zoning
Ma.p and Ordinances of the City of Paris, be, and the same are hereby
changed, and that a"G" Commercial District be, and the same is hereby
established on the South Side of Lamar Avenue on lots belonging to Mrs.
Alta Harrie, Charles C7RBrien, Covy Williama, and Earl Wilson, so as to in-
clude in such "G" Commercial I?istrict the hereinafter described property,
which was formerly and is presently designa,ted as an "E" Community Store
District, and that the bounda.riea of said "G" Commercial District, be, and
the same are hereby establighed as follows:
Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texae; and
Beginning at a sta.ke on the South Boundary Line of
Lamar Avenue at the North West Corner of a lot belonging
to Mrs. Alta Ha,rris;
Thence East with the S. B. Line of Lamar Avenue to
the North East Corner of a lot belonging to Earl Wilson and
the North West Corner of a tract belonging to the Paris
Independent School District;
Thence South with the E. B. Line of the Earl Wilson
property to the South East Corner of said lot;
Thence West to the South West Corner of the Mrs.
Alta Haxrys lot;
Thence North to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the City Engiaeer of the City of Paris, be, and he is
he reby directed to change the Zoning Ma.p of the City of Paria, in accordance
with the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1409, as amended, and in
accordance with the proviaions of this Ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinancee and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage.

session convened, at Council Chambers, on this the 9th day of April, A. D.,
1962.
