AN ORDINANCE APPC}IIVTING THREE MEMBERS OF THE EQUALI-
ZATION BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO SERVE FOR THE CURRENT
TAXABLE YEAR, ESTABLI5HING THE TIME FOR THE FIR.ST MEETING
OF THE EQUALIZATION BOARD, ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF PAY
FOR THE MEMBERS OF SAID BOARD, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DA TE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That Don Wair, C. C. Dubbs, and R. S. Biard, all resi-
dents of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and qualified voters and
real property owners in said City, be, and they are hereby appointed as the
Board of Equalization of the City of Paris for the current taxable year.
Section Z. The time of the meeting of said Equalization Board is
hereby fixed for the 4th day of June, A. D. , 1962.
5ection 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for said Equa.lization
Board is hereby fixed and establiehed as the Council Room in the Municipal
Building in the City of Paris, Texas.
Section 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed member of said
Equalization Board for the current ta.xable year is hereby established at
the rate of Twenty-Five ($25. 00) Dollars per day, and the City Manager
is hereby authorized and directed to make pa.yment out of the City funds
to such members at such rate of pay of Twenty-Five ($25.00) Dollars per
da y.
5ection 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
