1420 ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE AND CHANGING BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY ZONING MAP OF SAID CTIY ESTABLISHING "E" COMMUNITY STORE DISTRICT ON PORTIONS OF BOTH SIDES OF BONHAM STORDINANCE N0. 1420 . AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CTTY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLTSHED BY THE 71JNING MAP OF 5AID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN "E" COMMUNITY STURE DISTRICT ON PORTION5 OF BOTH SIDES OF BONHAM STREET, FROM 4TH STREET TO THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF THE FRISQ"3-SANTA FE RAILYJAY RIGHT OF WAY; ALSO INCLUDING CERTAIN PROPERTIES ON BOTH SIDES OF A PORTION OF CLARKSVILLE STREET, FRO M 6TH ST., S. E. TO 12TH ST., S. E.; AND ALSO INCLUDING PROPERTIES ON BOTH SIDES OF LAMAR AVENUE, FROM 6TH STREET TO 8TH STREET, EXTENDING NORTH TO THE S. B. LINE OF EAST HOUSTON STREET; SO AS TO INCLfJDE THERETN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; DESIC,NATING THE BOIJNDARIES OF THE "E" GbNWQJAIITY STORE DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY WUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and ordinances of the City of Paris be, and the same are hereby changed, and that an "E" Community Store District be, and the same is hereby established on portions of Bonham Street, from 4th Street to the East Boundary Line of the Frisco-Santa Fe Railway right of way; on portions of both sides of Clarksville 5treet, from 8th St., S. E. to 12th St., S. E.; and on both 5ides of Lamar Avenue, from 6th Street to 8th Street, extending North to East Houston Street, to include in such "E" Cornmunity Store District the hereinafter described territory, which was formerly and is presently designated as a Residential District, and that the boundaries of said "E" Community Store District be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated in the City of Paris, in Lamar County, Texasp and described as follows: TRACT 1: All of that area located an Bonham Street and beginning at the intersection of the N. B. Line of Bonham Street and the W. B. Line of 4th St., N. W.; Thence North to -the S. B. Line of West Houston Street; Thence West with the S. B. Line of West Houston Street to the E. B. Line of 6th St., N. W.; Thence on a line drawn West until the same intcrsects the S. B. Line of Ashby Street; Thence South to the N. B. Line of Bonham Street; Thence East with the N. B. Line of Bonham Street to the place of beginning. • Also, beginning at the intersection of the N. B. Line of Bonham Street and the W. B. Line of 9th St., N. W.; Thence North to the S. B. Line of Connor Street; Thence West with the S. B. Line of Connor Street to the East Boundary Line of the combined right of way of the Frisco and Santa Fe Railroad Companies; Thence South with the E. B. Line of the railroad right of way to the N. B. Line of Bonham Street; Thence East with the N. B. Line of Bonham Street to the place of beginning. Also, beginning at the intexsection of the S. B. Line of Bonham Street and the W. B. Line of 4th St., S. W.; Thence South to the N. B. Line of Grand Avenue; Thence West to the intersection of the N. B. Line of Grand Avenue to the E. B. Line of 7th St., S. W.; Thence North with the E. B. Line of 7th St., S. W. to the S. B. Line of Bonham Street; Thence East with the S. B. Line of Bonhatn Street to the place of beginning. Also, beginning at the intersection of the S. B. Line of Boraham Street and the W. B. Line of 8th St., S. Yd.; Thence South with the W. B. Line of 8th St., S. W. to the N. B. Line of West Kaufman Street; Thence West with the N. B. Line of West Kaufman Street tA the South East Corner of a tract owned by the Paris Coca Cola Bottling Company; Thence North with the E. B. Line of the Coca Cola Bottling Company tract to the S. B. Line of Bonham Street; Thence East with the S. B. Line of Bonham Street to the place of beginning. TRACT 2: Beginning at the intersection of the E. B. Line of 6th St., N. E. and the S. B. Line of East Houston Street; Thence East with the S. B. Line of East Houston Street to the W. B. Line of 8th St., N. E.; Thence South to the N. B. Line of Clarksville Street where the same intersects the W. B. Line of 8th St.0 S. E.; Thence West with the N. B. Line of Clarksville Street to the E. B. Line of 6th 5t., S. E.; Thence North to the place of beginning. Also, beginning at the intersection of the E. B. Line of 6th St., S. E. and the S. B. Line of Clarksville Street; Thence South with the E. B. Line of 6th St.v S. E. to the N. B. Line of Fort Street; Thence East with the N. B. Line of Fort Street to the S. W. Corner of a tract owned by Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home; Thence North with their W. B. Line to the S. B. Line of Clarksvi.lle Street; Thence West with the S. B. Line of Clarksvi lle Street to the place of beginning. Also, beginning at the intersection of the S. B. Line of Clarksville Street and the E. B. Line of 8th St., S. E.; Thence South to the N. B. Line of East Austin Street; Thence East with the N. B. Line of East Austin Street to a point where the same intersects the W. B. Line Af 12th St., S. E.; Thence North with the W. B. Line of 12th St.9 S. E. to the S. B. Line of Clarksville Street; Thence Westward with the S. B. Line of Clarksville Street to the place of beginning. Also, beginning at the North West Cc>rner of a lot facing on Clarksville Street and immediately East of the Lacy-Margraves Drug Store lot; Thence in an Easterly direction with the N. B. Line of each lot which faces on the North Boundary Line of Clarksville Street to the W. B. Line of 12th St., S. E.; Thence South with the S. B. Line of 12th St.9 S. E. to the N. B. Line of Clarksville 5treet; Thence West with the N. B. Line of Clarksville Street to the South East Corner of the Lacy-Margraves Drug Store; Thence North with the E. B. Line of the Lacy-Margraves Drug Stere building to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Acting City Engineer of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby directed to ehange the Zoning Map of the City of Parisp in accordance writh the provisions of Ordinance No. 1409,and in accerdance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. That all of the areas described in the foregoing tracts be, and the same are hereby placed 3n the First Fire District Limits of the City of Paris. Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict hereuvith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in regular session convened at Council Chambers on this, the 9th day of September, A. D., 1957.
