ORDINANCE NO <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE IV"J. 1388 AND MAKING CERTAIN CHHNGES IN <br />WaTER RATES FOR DOMESTIC AND CtOMMERCIAL USERS, PRUVIDSNGIOR CERTAIN EXPENSES TO <br />BE DUE THE CITY OF PARIS IN WATER SPRINKLER SYSTEMS FOR FIRE PRpTECTION, AND <br />DELETING FRCM ORDINANCE N`J. 1388 CERTAIN PORTIONS THEREOF. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />That Ordinance No. 1388 be amended in the following particulars: <br />i. That Section 2 of said Grdinance be amended by striking from <br />under "Meter or Tap Size " and "MinimUm Bill" the five-eighths inch (5/8ths") <br />tap, for which is provided a minimum bill of forty cents (40¢). <br />2. That said Section 2 shali be further amended by providing that in <br />ail of the size taps provided for in Section 2 for which a minimum bill is pre- <br />scribed, where the same is used solely for stand by fire protection from a <br />water sprinkler system, and where na water is used or consutned from such tap on <br />said premises other than firc protection, that no minimum fee shall be charged <br />therefor. <br />3. That on all taps furnished to the prospective customers for any <br />size larger than five-eighths inch (5/8ths") tap, the actual cost of the fur- <br />nishing of such tap shall be charged to the customer by the City of Paris. <br />4. That said Section 2 is further amended, and it is further provided <br />that each customer requesting a tap size for fire protection shall pay all of <br />the expenses incurred by the City of Paris for the furnishing and installation <br />of said tap size. <br />Passed and adopted this lOth day of March, A.
