AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE IV"J. 1388 AND MAKING CERTAIN CHHNGES IN
WaTER RATES FOR DOMESTIC AND CtOMMERCIAL USERS, PRUVIDSNGIOR CERTAIN EXPENSES TO
BE DUE THE CITY OF PARIS IN WATER SPRINKLER SYSTEMS FOR FIRE PRpTECTION, AND
DELETING FRCM ORDINANCE N`J. 1388 CERTAIN PORTIONS THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
That Ordinance No. 1388 be amended in the following particulars:
i. That Section 2 of said Grdinance be amended by striking from
under "Meter or Tap Size " and "MinimUm Bill" the five-eighths inch (5/8ths")
tap, for which is provided a minimum bill of forty cents (40¢).
2. That said Section 2 shali be further amended by providing that in
ail of the size taps provided for in Section 2 for which a minimum bill is pre-
scribed, where the same is used solely for stand by fire protection from a
water sprinkler system, and where na water is used or consutned from such tap on
said premises other than firc protection, that no minimum fee shall be charged
therefor.
3. That on all taps furnished to the prospective customers for any
size larger than five-eighths inch (5/8ths") tap, the actual cost of the fur-
nishing of such tap shall be charged to the customer by the City of Paris.
4. That said Section 2 is further amended, and it is further provided
that each customer requesting a tap size for fire protection shall pay all of
the expenses incurred by the City of Paris for the furnishing and installation
of said tap size.
