Secticn 1. That Article :~.XT~ Section 1~ of Grdinance ivo. 1400'. be
amended by adding thereto East Snerman Streetg from 6th Streeto S. E. to 8th
Street, S. E., wherein a one-way street is created, Gnd the. flow af the traffic
is towards the East.
Section 2. That 5ection 2 of Article XXI ef said Grciinance be amended
by aciding thereto the South Side of East Sherman Street from 6th Street, S. E.
to 8th Strezt, S. E. and by adding thereto the West Side of Sth Streetq S. E.
from East Sherman Street South to the South extremity of the First 'Nard School
property, wherein parking is prohibited at all hours, and Fire Lanes are
hereby established.
Section 3. That 5ection 3 uf Article XXI, Subdivision (a), of said
Ordinance, be amended by addiny thereto the Uerth Side of East Sherman Street
irom 6th Street, S. E. to 8th Street, S. E., and txie East Side of 8th Street,
S. E. from East Sher.man Street Soutn to the South 2xtrernity of the First 'Nard
School property, in which parking of vehicles is prohibited between the hours
of 8:00 o'cleck A. M. and 4:00 otclock P. 1,+2.
Section 4. The penalties provided for in Urdinance No. 1406 shall
upply to any violations of tiae above prohibited parking areas and one-way
street.
Section 5. This ordinance shUll become effective on the 31st day of
January, A. D.~ 1959.
Passed and adopted this 12th day of January, D.~ 1959.
