AIN GRDINt1NCE APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS OF THE EQU,aLIZ:-1TION BGARD OF
?HE CITY OF PARIS TG SERVE FUR THE CURRENT TAXABLE YEAR, ESTABLISHING THE
TIME FGR THE FIRST NEETING OF THE EQUALIZ~TTGN BGARD9 ESTABLISHING THE RATE
CF PAY FUR THE MEMBERS OF SAID BGARD, AND PRUVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DaTE.
BE IT ORDraINED BY THE CITY CLUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PtiRIS:
Section 1. That Dort Wair
C. C. Dubas , and R. S. Biar ~
each and all of whom are residents of the City of Parist Lamar County, ~
Texas, and qualified voters and real property owners in said City, be, and
they are hereby appointed as the Board of Equalization of the City of Paris
for the current taxable year.
Section 2. The time of the meeting of said Equalization Board is
hereby fixed for the lst day of June, A. D.9 1959.
Section 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for said Equalization
Board is hereby fixed and established as and at the Council Room in the
Municipal Building in the City of Parisp Lamar Countyg Texas.
Section 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed member of said
Equalization Board for the current taxable year is hereby established at
the rate of $ 25.00 per dayp and the City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to make payment out of the City funds to such members at such
rate of pay of $ 25.00 per day.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
