AN OR.DINANCE AMENDING THE ZOIVING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF PARISy TEXAS, CHANGTNG THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED
BY THE ZONING MAP OF SUCH: CITY; ESTABLI5HING A"G"
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ON A LUT 175 FEET ON THE NORTH
BOUNDARY LINE OF LAMAR AVENUE AND 150 FEET ON THE WEST
BOUNDARY LINE OF 20TH STREET, N. E., ON PROPERTY BELONGING
TO THE CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, SO AS TO INCLUDE TH:-ERk3N
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATEDAS A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; AND
DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
SO ES TABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore esta,blished by the Zoning
Map and ordina.nces of the City of Paris be, and the same are hereby
changed, and tha,t a"G" Commercial District be, and the same is hereby
esta.blished on a lot belonging to the Church of the Nazarene, which lot
is described as follows:
Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and being
a lot 175 feet on the North Boundary Line of Lama.r Avenue
and 150 feet on the West Boundary Line of 20th 5treet, N. E.
Section 2. That the Gity Engineer of the City of Paris be, and he is
hereby directed to cha.nge the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1409, as amended, and in accordance
with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immedia.tely upon
passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris, in
regular session convened, at Council Cha.mbers, on this the 14th day of
September, A. D., 1959.
