ORDINANCE NO. 1496 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING, ADMITTING AND INGORPORA TING ADDITIONAL TERRITORY IN LAMAR COUNTY, TEXA5, LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF PARIS, 'IE XAS, INTO AND AS A PART OF SAID CITY OF PARIS, EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS SO AS TO INCLUDE AND EMBR.ACE SAID ADJACENT TERRITORY, GON- FERRING ALL RIGHTS, PRIVILEGES AND IMMUNITIES OF CITIZENSHIP UPON THE INHABITANTS OF SAID TERRITORY, EXTENDING THE BOUIVDA- RIES OF WARD FOUR SO AS TO EMBRACE AND INCLUDE ALL OF SAID TERRITORY AND INCORPORATING THE SAME IN SAID WARD FOUR OF SAID CITY, PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES, RULES, REGULATION5, AND LA WS IN EFFEC T IN THE CITY OF PARIS AND THA T MA Y FiERE- AFTER BE PASSED IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT IN SAIIJ TERR.ITORY AFTER PA5SAGE OF THIS ORDINANCE, IN5TRUCTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE A SURVEY FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE HEREWITH AND TO CONSTRUCT A COMPLETE MAP OF SUCH TERRITORY SHOWING STREET5, ALLEYS, LOTS, TRACTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS AND TO FILE SAME WITH THE CITY CLERK AND TO CORRECT THE MAP OF THE CITY OF PARIr SO AS TO ADD SUCH TERRITORY THERETO; AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY A5SES50R AND COLLECTOR OF TAXES TO LIST ALL PROPERTY THEREIN AND PLACE 5AME ON THE TAX ROLLS OF THE GITY OF PARiS AND HEREAFTER ASSESS SAME FOR TAXES IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW. BE IT OR.DAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the following described territory in Lamar County, Texa.s, lying adjacent to the present boundary limits of the City of Paris be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Paris and admitted into the corporation of such City, and is hereby made and constituted a part and portion of the City of Paris and the Boundary Limits of the Gity of Paris are hereby extended so as to include and embrace said territory and to conform to same as herein set out, to..wit: Situated in the County of Lama.r and Sta.te of Texas, and being a part of the Hiram Williams Survey, and being described as follows: Beginning at the N. E. Corner of a lot in the partition of J. S. Booth Esta.te, being the N. E. Corner of a tract shown in Book 354, Page 369 of the Deed Records of Lamar County, and on the West Boundary Line of 25th Street, N. E. ; Thence South with the W. B. Line of 25th 5treet, N. E., a distance of 760 feet; Thence West 378 feet; Thence South 70 degrees and 35 minutes West, 160 feet; Thence North 34 degrees, 11 minutes, West, 523 feet to a point in the South Boundary Line of Farm to Ma,rket Road No. 195; Thence South West with the S. B. Line of Farm to Market Road Noo 195 to a point where said Farm to Ma.rket Road intersects the present City Limit Lines of the Gity of Paris; Thence North West to the North Boundary Line of Farm to Market Road No. 195; Thence North East with the N. B. Line of Farm to Market Road No. 195 to a point immedi.ately West of the Northern North West Corner of the Ballard to Dodson Tract; Thence East to the S. B. Line of Farm to Market Road No. 195, being the S. B. Line of a dirt road, where Farm to Market Road No, 195 intersects the S. B. Line of the dirt road, said point being the most Northern North West Corner of the Ballard to Dodson Tract; Thence North 88 degrees and 13 minutes East with the S. B. Line of said dirt road, 368, 5 feet to the place of beginning.
