AN OR.DINANCE AIuiENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTAB-
LISHED BY THE ZONING MAI' OF SAID GITY; ESTABLISHING A"G"
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ON LAMAR AVENUE AT THE NORTH WEST
INTERSECTION OF LAMAR AVENUE AND 19TH STREET, N. E,, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO ROBERT H. YOUNG, SO AS TO INCLIIDE
THEREIN TER.R.ITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A RESIDENTIAL
DIS TRIC T; AND DESIGNA TING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE "G"
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PA RIS :
Section 1,
Tha,t the
boundaries heretofore established
by the
Zoning Map and
ordinances
of the City of Paris be, and the
same are
hereby cha.nged,
and tha.t a
"G" Commercial I?istrict be, and
the same
is hereby establi
shed on a
lot belonging to Robert H. Young,
which lot
is described as
follows:
Situated in the County o£ Lamar and 5tate of Texa.s, and
being a part of the Gecrge W. Cox Survey; and beginning
at the intersection of the W. B. Line of 19th Street, N. E.
and the N. B. Line of Lamar Avenue; Thence West 90
feet, a stake, the South West Corner of the Robert H.
Young lot; Thence North 90 feet a stake; Thence East 90
feet a stake in the E. B. Line of the Robert H. Young
lot and the W. B. Line of 19th Street, N. E. ; Thence
South with the W. B. Line of 19th Street, N. E., 90 feet
to the place of beginning.
5ection 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris be, and he
is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in
accordance with the provisions of Ordina.nce No. 1409, as amended, and
in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Sectinn 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris, in
regular session convened, at Council Chambers, on this the 14th day of
December, A. D., 1959.
