1. Call meeting to order and invocation.
Public hearing to receive input from the citizens of Paris regarding local
participation in the expenditure of funds under the Local Law Enforcement
Block Grant awarded to the City of Paris.
3. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions:
Approving and authorizing an application to the United States
Department of Justice for a Local Law Enforcement Block Grant in the
amount of $58,697.00, requiring a matching cash contribution of
$6,522.00.
Authorizing the purchase of one (1) model year 2002 one-half ton
extended cab pickup truck through the Houston-Galveston Area
Council of Governments for use by the Auto Theft Division of the Paris
Police Department and funded under the supplemental Automobile
Theft Prevention Program Grant.
Appointing members to the Board of Directors of the Paris Economic
Development Corporation.
