AN URDINANCE PRESCRIBING AND REGULATIPJG THE CHARGES FOR LOCAL.

PARIS, TEXA5, BY THE IitLCD-IVEST 'JIDEU CORPORATIUN UNDER FM~CHISE ISSUED

BE IT URDAItvED BY TE{E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY UF PARIS:
Section l. That N~id-Wesil ilideo C'orporation be auihorized to
place into effect the following schedule of rates for local cornmFunity
antenna television si;nal service furnished in the City of Paris,
Texas in accordarice with the pravisions of the Charter of the City oz
Paris and the franctiise granted to said company by said City, to-wit;

Monthlv Rate
Residential:
Nonthly Rlaintenance Fee with 1 outlet $4.00
Each Adciitional Outlet 2,pC
Commercial:
PJionthly N~aintenance Fee, 1 outlet 6.50
Each Additional CUtlet 2.00
Section 2. Tnat the City Council waive any right which it may
have to regulate and prescribe the initial installation contribution
charges which 1liid-West Video Corporation shall er may make under written
contract wi±h any resident/y4sc:riber, provided t-hat such waiver ar,d
failure to regulate on the part of the City Ccuncil shall never be con-
strued to pronibit the City Council fro„n in the future regulating and
prescribing such initial installation charges, nor shall such aciion on
the nar-L of the Council in anywise al-ter the obligations imposed upon
Mid-~"Jest Video Corpora-Lion by virtue of the franchise held by it.
Section 3, Nothing in this ordinance contained shall be construed
now or hereafter as limi±iny or modifyiny)in any manner, the right ana
power c: i,ne City under the law tc regulate the rates anci charges of
Iv1id=d'qesi. ✓i«eo Corporation for se:cvices made and rendered under franchise
from t;ze Cicy oL- Paris.
5ectlion 4. Tnis ordinance shall become eirective immediately upon
passage.
Passed and adupied by ihe Cli(;y Council of the Ciiy of Paris in
reguiar session convened on this 12th day of Dacember, 1955.
