AN OFtDINANCE APPOINTING THR.EE (3) NNBF;RS OFTHE EQUALIZATION BQARD OF
THE CITY OF PARIS TO SERVE FOR THE CURFiENT TAXABIE Y.EAR; ESTABLISHING
THE TIME FOR THE FIRST MEETING OF THE EQUALI'LATION B(ARD; ESTABLISHING
THE RATE CF PAY FOR THF, MEMF3ERS OF SAID BOARD; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
HE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI-iE CI3'Y OF PARIS:

each and all of whom a,re resident of the City of Paris, Lama,r County,
Texas., and qualified voters and. rea1 property rnmers in said City be,
and they are hereby, appoirtted as the Board of Equalization of the
City of Paris for the current taxable year.
Section 2. The time of the meeting of said Equalization Board is hereby
fixed for the lst da.y of June, 1956.
Section 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for said Equalization
Board is hereby fixed and established as and at the Council Room in
the Municipa.l Building in the City of Paris, La.mar Courit,y, Texas.
Section 4. The rate of pa,y for each such appointed members of said
Equalization Board for the current taxable year is hereby established
at the rate of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per da-:>, and the City Ma.nager is
hereby authorized and directed to make payment out of City funds to
such members at such rate of pay of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per day.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage,
