AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 1194 HERETOFORE PASSED AND
ADOPTED BY THE CITY QOUNCIL OF THE CITY UF PARIS ON MAY 23, 1949 BY
AMENDIirK; SECTIGN 7 T(-EREOF TO REDUCE FROM THREE ($3.00) DOLLARS TO ONE
($1.00) DOLLAR THE IMPOUNDING FEE THEREIN STIPULATED AND AUTHORIZED FOR
RECOVERING POSSESSION GF A DOG CAPTURED AND IbiPptJNDED BY TI-E POLICE
DEP,ARTIuENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That Section 7 of Ordinance No. 1194, heretofore
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris on May 23,
1949 be, and the same is hereby amended to read as folbws:
"The owner, keeper or cvstodian of any dog captured and
impounded under the provisions hereof shall have the
right to redeem such dog at any time within forty-eight
(48) hours after posting or publication of notice of its
capture and impounding and receive possession of the
same upon payment of an impounding fee of One ($1.00)
Dollar to the Chief of Police for each dog so redeemed".
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and ad pted by the City Council of the City of Paris on
