AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 1363, AND FIXING
THE WATER RATES FOR DOMESTIC AND COMMERCIAL USERS, FIXING THE
DUE DATE AND BILLING CYCLE AND ESTABLISHING A MINIMUM BILL
BASED UPON THE METER OR TAP SIZE, REGULATING THE DISCONTINUANCE
OF WATE R SUPPLY FOR DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS, AND PROVIDING FOR RE-
CONNECT CHARGE IN CASE OF DISCONNECTION FOR NON-PAYMENT OF
BILLS, AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECT NE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:

Section 2. The following minimum bills for various size
meters or taps are hereby fixed as follows:

Section 3. That the above rates shall be and become
effective November 15, 1956 and shall be figured in water bills
of the persons, firms, or corporations to begin with Cycle 2,
which billing date for said cycle is December 20, 1956, and
shall be billed on the respeetine dates of Cycle 3 and Cycle 1
as fixed by Ordinance 1363, and shall be due respectively 10
days from the billing date of the respeetive cycle.
Section 4. Hereafter, if any person, firm, or corpora-
tion shall fail to pay the bill of the City of Paris for water
service rendered to such person, firm, or corporation on or
before the expiration of ten (10) days after the date when such
bill is due and payable, the water service of such person, firm,
or corporation shall be discontinued, and such service shall not
again be resumed until sueh person, firm, or corporatio n shall
have paid such delinquent water bill in full, together with re-
conneetion fee of $1.00.
Section 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective
November 15, 1956•
