AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANGE OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED
BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY, ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT FR.ONTING ON THE E. B. LINE OF 13TH STREET, N. W. AND
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WEST CHERRY STREET, SO AS TO INCLUDE
THEREIN TERRITORY PRESENTLY DESIGNATED AS A RESIDENTTAL DIS-
TRICT, AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DIS-
TRICT SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinances of the City of Paris be, and the
same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District be,
and the same is hereby established on the E. B. Line of 13th
Street, N. W. and on the North side of West Cherry Street,
to include in such "Commercial District" the hereinafter
described territory, which is presently designated as a
rrResidential Districtt', and that the boundaries of said
rrCommercial District'tbe, and the same are hereby established
as follows:
Situated in the City of Paris in Lamar County,
Texas, and being a part of the Asa Jarman Survey
and being a lot 50 x 150 feet at the intersection
of the E. B. Line of 13th St., N. W. and the
N. B. Line of Cherry Street, in the City of Paris,
said lot fronting 50 feet on the North Boundary
Line of Cherry Street and extending 150 feet on
the E. B. Line of 13th St., N. W.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of
Paris be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map
of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of
this Ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in confliet herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Paris in regular session convened at Council Chambers on
this llth day of February, A. D., 1957•
