Section 2. Zf the voter desires to vote in f avor of the qizestion, r'Shall a corunission be chosen to f'rame a nei•r charter?tf, such voter shall leave the word 11YES" on the ballot ar_d strike ovt the word "ITO". If the voter desires to vo-L-e aca?nst the question, "Shall a corrunission be chasen to frar.ie a r.evr charter?O, such voter shall leave the ti~rord "NO" and strike out the aord "XES" on the ballot. Sectior. 3. 'Fach voter rna,y vote for any fifteen or less of the persons whose names are subm:3tted as candidates for membars of a charter com.rnissionas above provided, and each voter shall have the privilege of striking out any one or r.iore names on said ballot and writing in the name of any nualified person, in Urhich event the vote for such qualified Derson shall be counted as effectually as if his or her name had been printed unon the ballot, but no votes shall be counted for any candidate for riembership on the charter commission upon any ballot upon which more than fiPteen names, printed or tvrittan, shall ' ~ - ~ Adik be left. A voter shall vote for any candidate for membership on the charter comm.iss- r ion by leavirsg his name, printed or Urritten, on said ballot, and by leaving the ntunes of fifteen or less candidates on said ballot and strikin.g out the names of all others. 'Llhe Iiayor is instructed to give notice of said ele6tion by immediately uosting r.otices at each polling place and by immediately publishing this ordinance in the Faris r;ews, a paper of general circulation and a r_ewspaper published in the City of Faris, and continuing said publication for a period of ten days. Section b. The election to be held in accordance -with the general election lavrs oi the State of Texas, insofar as same are applicable and not in conflict vrith the provisions of the Cmty Charter.
